Seven
Elephant Seven represents an early phase of professional web work, when creativity, communication and technology still had to be rethought together much more fundamentally. Digital experiences and applications were created for different clients, often without the standards and design systems that are taken for granted today.
My role
Designer
I developed digital creative concepts, took on art direction and led the creative team. I also coordinated projects across locations, contributed to building the Frankfurt office and worked on improving internal workflows and structures. Alongside my creative responsibility, I also trained media designers.

Wild West of the Web
Websites, interfaces and digital communication were created without the design systems and established patterns we take for granted today. Different brands meant experimenting, structuring and finding a distinct digital language for each project.
TROX website, 2003
At the time, much of the web was still uncharted territory. Product information, animations and interactive elements were combined into a digital presence designed to make technical content easier to understand.
GROHE product portal
Before design systems became standard practice, clear rules for navigation, imagery and product presentation were already being developed here. Several product ranges were brought together in an early digital system.
FSB architects portal
Flash, product data and technical drawings in one application: the portal made a large range of architectural hardware digitally searchable and usable for planning.
